Scholarships
The Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officers Association scholarship is offered to graduating High School students interested in pursuing a college degree. This one-time award of up to $6,000 dollars targets students attending an accredited college.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:
- Be a graduating student from a Broward County high school
- Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5
- Demonstrated community service.
- Be a first-year freshman enrolled as a full-time college student in a degree-granting program
Supporting Documentation

Award Amount
This scholarship award is up to $6,000 dollars and will be sent directly to the college institution.
